INVERNO winter

Me gusta el Invierno, todo parece ir mas despacio, los días mas cortos invitan a la reflexión  la interiorización, autocritica, con tiempo para el análisis sosegado de un duro año de trabajo en las viñas.Siempre hay espacio para la mejora , para intentar  acercar lo mas posible nuestra viticultura a la verdadera Viticultura natural , por eso es fundamental analizar los errores, los aciertos y las nuevas experiencias y test .Testen ,testen que di André.Dos años de una aguda sequía dan para ver muchas cosas, sobretodo lo grandioso del sistema Natural y su gran capacidad de supervivencia y adaptación a las condiciones adversas. Ritmos de desenvolvimiento de vida en el suelo, en las plantas, insectos…percibir esos ritmos, fomentarlos, mimarlos , trabajar duro, pero siempre de la mano de la Naturaleza , creo que es el camino . Que llegue la vendimia y aparezca el cansancio,  que caigan las primeras lluvias del Otoño y que nuestras viñas se llenen de vida en pocos días y que nuestro cansancio se convierta en satisfacción, orgullo, seguimos aprendiendo.

I like the winter, everything seems to be slower; shorter days invite you to reflexion, internalization and self-criticism, with time enough for a relaxed analysis of a tough year of work in our vineyards. There’s always rooms for improvement, trying to approach as much as possible our viticulture to the real Natural Viticulture, that’s why the analysis of the mistakes, the successes and the new experiences and tests is so important. Two years of severe drought give you time to see and discover too many things, specially the grandiosity of the Natural system and its great survival and adaptation capacities under adverse conditions.  Life development rhythms on the soil, in plants, insects…perceive those rhythms, promote them, take care of them, work hard but always by the and of Nature, I think that’s the way. Let the harvest come and the tiredness appears, let the first rains of the Autumn drop and our vineyards will be full of life in just a few days, and our fatigue will become satisfaction, pride, we keep on learning

Año a año conseguimos reducir las dosis de cobre que utilizamos en las aplicaciones en las viñas,  el año 2012 lo finalizamos con un gasto de 1.520g de cobre metal por hectárea de viña.El trabajo con plantas y las extracciones hidroalcohólicas  están siendo fundamentales.

Year after year we achieve to reduce the cupper dose that we use in vineyards treatments; in 2012 we finished the year with an amount of 1.520gr of metal cupper per hectare. The work with plants, and the hydro alcoholic extractions are being fundamental.

Las aplicaciones de azufre  en esta pasada campaña fueron , cero , el buen trabajo con la milenrama(achillea millefolium)nos permitió olvidarnos de las aplicaciones de azufre en polvo.

The treatments with sulphur in the last campaign were… cero, the great work with “milenrama” (achillea millefolium) allowed us to forget the applications with powder sulphur. 

En los periodos de Luna Ascendente bajamos  las vides, las cortamos en pequeños trozos con las tijeras de podar y las aportamos al suelo.En Firvidelas nuestra única viña en la que se trabaja con tractor las vides se dejan justo en las roderas que hacen las ruedas del tractor para que ayuden a limitar la compactación

In Ascending Lunar periods we remove the vines, cutting it in small pieces with the pruning scissors and bringing it to the ground. At “Firvidelas”, our only vineyard where the tractor is used, the vines are left just over the ruts made by the tractor wheels, helping us to limit the compaction

Cada año que pasa conseguimos mejoras en la extructura del suelo de nuestras viñas, pese a las dificultades cada año esta mas vivo.Huele a hongos 

Year after year we acheive that the soil of our vineyards be more live, it smell fungus.
